We are looking for a Class A CDL Driver for a DEDICATED RUN to Poplar Bluff, Missouri and back. 100+ runs before the end of the year.

This is a long term position paying by the mile transporting Concrete Pavers.

  • Current and valid Tennessee Driver’s license

  • Transport materials to and from the jobsite, including loading and unloading
  • Using proper tie-down procedures, secure materials to be transported to ensure the safety and security of the load
  • Utilize GPS devices and maps to plan travel schedules and routes
  • Report on the health and operating status of all equipment using service requests and hazard reports
  • Assist with general labor duties when needed
  • Time management and problem-solving skills
  • Reliability and timeliness

Salary: $0.48 per mile

The Driver position of Smart Scapes LLC is an important role for hardscaping projects. Communicating and picking up materials from vendors, communicating with sales staff as necessary, delivery to job sites and communication on proper dump locations and locations of materials. Must have the ability to troubleshoot issues and report to management immediately. Must work well as part of a team.

The position of Smart Scapes LLC Field Supervisor consists of performing tasks involving management of labor staff, scheduling of hardscape projects, and delivery of materials. Projects include installation of concrete pavers, artificial turf, retaining walls and landscaping. Position will include operating power tools and heavy equipment, cleaning and preparing sites.

Tasks

  • Manage project Foremen of multiple crews in field
  • Oversee employee training of equipment and installation practices
  • Manage workflows
  • Assisting and managing materials purchase and delivery

Qualifications and requirements

Smart Scapes is hiring a Crew Leader + two to do Mechanical Install. The Crew Leader position is a top supervisory role for project locations. We are looking for someone with industry experience that is able to direct installation, supervise and troubleshoot on the job site. The Crew Leader is responsible for ensuring that safety rules are followed on the site at all times and they are responsible for installation of concrete pavers, artificial turf, retaining walls and landscaping. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 50+ lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking. Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the hard scaping / landscaping trades. Must be able to handle hazardous materials safely and tolerate exposure to electrical hazards and weather.

Their duties include sorting and distributing mail throughout the office, greeting office visitors and directing them to employees and coordinating with Managers to schedule appointments or update schedules.
Office Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

An Office Assistant is responsible for keeping the office supplied and organized. This involves lots of small duties, like typing and taking notes during meetings, but their overall responsibilities are essential. Office Assistants are responsible for things like:

  • Handling incoming calls and other communications.

Under this position, you will be responsible for managing a shop of 2-3 people to handle performing regular preventative maintenance and repairs to a wide range construction equipment and delivery vehicle fleet to ensure the equipment operates safely and properly. This position requires physical exertion and supervisor skills.

The Mechanic we are looking for an individual who is eager to expand their experience in the field of diesel mechanics and heavy equipment repair. This person needs to be safety conscious, self motivated, dependable, mechanically inclined, and a problem solver. We need someone with a remarkable aptitude of basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. The ability to efficiently perform computer diagnostics and data entry is a must. The preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs will be for our fleet of landscape/hardscape trucks, front end loaders, bobcats, and other various equipment.

Job Summary Performs minor repairs, limited preventative maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting on a wide variety of equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
  • Performs minor repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services, as needed, on equipment (including, but not limited to, bobcats, scrapers, backhoes, and company trucks).
  • Diagnoses and repairs differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems.
  • Performs tasks per preventative maintenance checklist and in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Completes records such as work orders, checklists, and oil samples.
  • Assists with servicing and maintaining other landscaping equipment
